New Year’s Eve at Hernán Gipponi Restaurant

Hernán Gipponi Restaurant is the ideal spot for special ocassions and New Year’s Eve is no exception. The specially planned dinner menu to farewell the old and welcome the new includes the following:

Appetizers:
Homemade breads, butter, olive oil
Prawn from Chubut
Cured fish, cucumber, lentils and yoghurt
Vacuum cooked veal tongue, veggies vinaigrette, blood
Humita and rabbit in philo pastry with spinach alioli and sausage fritter

Salad:
Smoked trout, pickled summer veggies, acidulated cream, leaves and sprouts.

Starter:

Roasted tomatoes, crab, creamy black rice, squid, Sbrinz cheese

Main Courses:
Catch of the day with turnip emulsion, salicornia, courgette seeds, tomato.
Apple-tree smoked steak, confit potatoes, yam chips, criolla sauce

Pre-Dessert:
Argentinian cheeses, cayote, cherries and nuts

Dessert

Vanilla pear, Granny Smith apple sorbet,  carob, cardamom cloud.

The menu will be paired with top quality Argentine wines and costs $1000 Argentine pesos. There will also  be a children’s menu priced at $350 pesos that will include Salamín from Tandil and Sbrinz cheese and Vitel Thonné as appetizers, 63°C sous vide egg, potato cream as a starter, a choice between catch of the day with creamy rice and sirloin with french fries for the main course, and a dessert of chocolate cake and ice cream.
