Pay a visit to the Bicentennial House where a permanent exhibit of Argentine history is showcased and where you can also access the temporary display on Argentine economic and political history. The museum of the external debt is another alternative for those interested in the economic history of the country.

Start the day by exploring color and space at the MALBA (museum of Latin American art), which is showcasing an exhibit of Venezuelan artist Carlos Cruz-Diez’s work centering on these subjects.
In the evening starting 9pm, the Recoleta Cultural Center is staging Hombre Vertiente, an experimental performance including acrobatics, special lighting and interaction with the public, directed by Pichón Baldinu, one of the De La Guarda founders.

Experiment with your perception at the Centro Cultural Konex where the temporary exhibit “Dialogo en la Oscuridad” will guide you through a series of recreated situations, such as shopping or traveling in a boat, in total darkness. The exhibit is held from 5pm-9pm
Afterwards stop for 5 o’clock tea at the stunning Las Violetas teahouse, which is just a few blocks away.
Book your place for the Fierro Hotel’s Thursday wine tasting and sample some great Argentine wines, chosen by the president of the Argentine sommelier association Andres Rosberg and in-house Sommelier Martin Bruno. Tastings cost 25 USD per person and are limited to 7 people.

The international design festival will be held during the weekend and will be hosting alternative activities such as bike rides through city neighborhoods led by fashion designer Martin Churba, Olivier Hanocq, and arquitect Emiliano Espasandín. More information here.
