The spring months are some of the most popular for tourism in Argentina and for good reason. Not only are the flowers in bloom and the weather perfect, but also it is a time where there are many events including a lot of music festivals and more.
Semana del Arte (Buenos Aires Art Week): 23rd-29th of September. The first week of Spring kicks off with an art filled agenda including three consecutive gallery nights, a drawing festival and more.
Festival Buenos Aires Danza Contemporanea: Throughout the 4th to the 8th of October the contemporary dance festival will take place promising for a week filled with inspiring moves!
Semana de la Gastronomía Porteña (Buenos Aires Culinary Week): Also during October, from the 5th to the 12th, is this food lovers event where open air cooking classes, special restaurant discounts and more will be offered.
Pepsi Music Festival: From the 18th-22nd of October the city will be receiving international artists including Garbage and a closing concert by Suede. Maquinaria Festival: Marilyn Manson, The Prodigy, and Deftones are just a few of the names that will be participating in the Maquinaria Festival which will take place from the 8th-10th of November at Estadio Malvinas Argentinas. Tickets here.
Creamfields 2012: The most awaited electronic party of the year will take place on the 10th of November at the Autodromo de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. This year’s lineup includes Richie Hawtin, Sven Vath, Infected Mushroom and Paul Van Dyk amongst others. Tickets here.
Buenos Aires Jazz: Spring and Jazz festivals go together like cafe con leche y medialunas, and from the 21st to the 26th of November both will be available around city cafes and stages!
International Artisans Fair: From the 4th to the 9th of December artisans from around the world will gather at La Rural where they will display their masterful crafts just in time for Christmas shopping.
