Starting today there will be a series of live guitar concerts by local and international artists as part of the Guitarras del Mundo international guitar festival. The event, which will take place until the 14th of October, will present over 200 different guitar acts around the country.
Some of the prestigious names that will be participating include Serkan Yilmaz (Turkey); Eduardo Baranzano Férnandez (Uruguay); Tita Avedaño (Chile); Lucho Gonzales (Peru) and the Argentine Ariel Abramovich and Matéo Villalba, amongst others. Styles covered will be varied, including tango, flamenco, classic, baroque, contemporary, and folkloric music from around the world.
In Buenos Aires the concerts will take place at the Centro Cultural Recoleta and the National Library starting at 8pm. Tickets are free of charge. Find the full program here.
