This year’s Christmas season is proving to be more festive than ever in Buenos Aires. If you’re here with the little ones, then stopping by the BA Christmas Park, which will be set up until the 24th of December at the Parque Thays at Figueroa Alcorta and Callao, is a must.
This is the first edition of the Christmas Park and it is divided into three sections:
The Elf Factory, where Santa’s little helpers go to rest, and where they receive toy donations for children in need.
The Toy Factory, where toys are made and children can play and participate in different arts and crafts.
The Santa Claus Cabin, which is where Santa himself will be! Granted, he didn’t bring a very weather appropriate suit for a BA Christmas but he’s still jolly as ever.
Santa’s Cabin is divided into the library where he plans his routes and toy distribution, the lab where magical potions are concocted for him to be able to get to every corner of the world on time, the letter room where children and the occasional adult-child can leave their Christmas list (or lists) and finally, the living room where the age old celebrity himself will be sitting and posing for the camera.
The park will be open from the 8th of December to the 24th from midday to 8pm on weekdays and 10am to 8pm on weekends.
