Tuesday

Check out the new Harun Farocki exhibit at Fundación PROA in La Boca. Also nearby is the Quinquela Martín museum where you can get a taste of local art.

Don’t miss the first part of the Ultra Electronic Music Festival with a lineup including AVICII, Dash Berlin, Armin Van Buuren and Carl Cox. Tickets here.

Wednesday

Summer is the perfect time to visit Tigre, in the Paraná delta, crisscrossed by small rivers and streams. This untamed location surrounded by nature has a variety of attractions and excursions including canoeing and kayak, trekking, motorboat and commuter boats to take you to different places on the riverside, restaurants, spas, teahouses, picnic sites, a naval museum, an art museum, a mate museum, a casino, a crafts fair and an amusement park.

Thursday

Take an off the beaten path tour to Barracas and discover pasaje Lanin. Also, from midday to 6pm, French graffiti artist Jef Aerosol will be in the neighborhood spraying some of his own color onto the nearby walls of Called Suarez 1900.

Later on stop by the stunning Colón Theatre where Sleeping Beauty is being projected in 3D from Tuesday’s to Saturday’s at 8pm.  Cerrito 628, Downtown.

Friday

Stop by the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes where there is a new exhibit about paper as an expressive medium that showcases drawing, engravings and more by artists ranging from Picasso to Toulouse Lautrec. Avenida del Libertador 1473, Recoleta.

In the evening stop by Fierro´s Thank Fierro its Friday Happy Hour from 6pm to 8.30 pm and then head to one of the best speakeasies in the city! Soler 5862, Palermo. 3220-6800.

Don’t miss the live Carnival show on the 22nd of February at 9pm by Los Linyeras de la República Popular de la Boca at the Centro Cultural Rojas.   Corrientes 2038, Downtown.
