One of the architectural landmarks of the city is the famous Palacio Barolo. Guided tours are available Mondays and Thursdays from 4pm to 7pm and evening guided tours on Mondays and Wednesdays at 8pm and Thursdays at 8.30pm includes tasting of an awarded wine and a national delicacy. Tuesday

Book a personalized food tour with Allie from famous BA food blog Pick Up the Fork and get to know the gastronomic side of the city you are most curious about. More information here.

Polish your Spanish and make new friends at the Tuesday conversation classes organized by Bueno, Dale! Spanish School in different city bars. The hour long practice sessions are open for all levels and all one must do is show up from 7pm to 8pm with a 30-peso fee. The location of each event is announced via Facebook.

Wednesday

The BAFICI independent film festival kicks off until the 21st of April. Find the full schedule here and buy your tickets in advance!

Later on stop by La Catedral in Almagro where you can take a tango lesson starting at 7.30 pm or 9pm. Sarmiento 4006, Almagro.

Thursday

Get a general overview of the city  on one of the free walking tours led by Jonathan, an Englishman in love with BA! Tours start at 11am at the center of Plaza Italia by the Garibaldi Horse monument and cover the areas of Almagro, Congress and Plaza de Mayo using local transport to get around. More information here.

In the evening, get ready for mingling in the local art scene as the first gallery night of the year kicks off from 7 to 10pm.

Friday

Head to the stunning Museo de Arte Español Enrique Larreta in Belgrano and check out Spanish artist Ouka Leele‘s  photography which she treats as a form of visual poetry in images full of vibrant colors.

In the evening The Cure will be staging a live concert at Estadio River Plate startin at 9pm. Tickets here.

Saturday and Sunday
