Christmas Eve is a big celebration in Argentina in which family dinners, presents and fireworks are all part of the festivity. Afterwards, it’s time for fun with friends at the great Christmas Eve parties around the city. Bars also open from 1am onwards (approximately).

Magic Christmas at Niceto Club: The Palermo centered club is always a great go-to place when looking to party and Christmas is no exception. Niceto Vega 5510, Palermo. 

Christmas Hype Party at Kika Club: Another Palermo clubbing hotspot, Kika, puts a Christmas spin to their Tuesday hype party this year! Honduras 5339, Palermo

La Roxtar de Navidad at The Roxy Live Bar: Another Palermo option, for younger clubbing crowds, is to head to the Roxy Live bar for their Christmas party which is free until three. Niceto Vega 5542, Palermo.

Albert Neve at Pacha Buenos Aires: Clubbers who are serious about their electronic music always head to Pacha where the DJ’s are top line. This Christmas, Spanish DJ Albert Neve will be in charge of the ho ho ho at this popular city nightclub. Av. Rafael Obligado 6151, Palermo. 

All Sides Party at Sick Club: The rocker scene will kick off the merry-making with live music by local band Olestar and then continue the party with punk, cumbia and more. Adolfo Alsina 921, downtown.

La Viruta Tango: Dancing kicks off from 12.30pm onwards at this tango hotspot where the first 50 to arrive get in free.  Armenia 1366, Palermo. 4779-0030.
