Tuesday

The Museo Nacional de Arte Decorativo in Recoleta has recently reopened and is featuring an exhibit of photographs regaring the marriage of children. The museum´s permanent collection is also well worth visiting, and their courtyard café- Croque Madame is the perfect spot for a pick-me-up coffee and a pastry. Av. Libertador 1902, Recoleta.

Later on, starting at 9pm, chill out with some reggae music at Guapa Bar. Costa Rica 4933, Palermo.

Wednesday

On Wednesday and Thursday evening, the Festival Opera Tigre will be taking place at Kaiola Blue which is located in one of the city’s most attractive outdoor locations, the Tigre delta. The festival will feature a production of Henry Purcel’s A Fairy Queen.

Thursday

Check out the Margaret Bourke-White photography exhibit being showcased at the Centro Cultural Borges. Viamonte 525, downtown.

In the evening, starting at 8.30pm, head to Parque Centenario where a live Argentine folklore music show will be taking place, featuring Bruja Salguero and María Paula Godoy.

Friday

If you came to Buenos Aires and you’re not vegetarian, chances are you want some of that famous Argentine beef! Book your place for the full parrilla experience with Parrilla Tour. These filling excursions, which take place in San Telmo on Fridays, will surely satisfy your meat cravings!

Later on, at 7pm, head to the Palais de Glace in Recoleta and catch a screening of Matt Portenfield’s I Used to be Darker, which is part of a cinematographic program featuring international films related to Summer. Posadas 1725, Recoleta.

Saturday and Sunday
