Monday and Tuesday are national holidays as the city celebrates the Carnival festivities. Check out the parades and events taking place at the corner of  Scalabrini Ortiz and Soler from 7pm to 2am on Monday and from 7pm to midnight on Tuesday.

Stop by the MALBA and check out the exhibit of artist Antonio Berni’s stunning work which deals with traditional Porteño topics such as tango, immigration, poverty and hope in a unique and uplifting way. Av. Figueroa Alcorta 3415, Palermo.

In the evening, stop by La Catedral for a tango lesson. Sarmiento 4006, Almagro.


Check out the Margaret Bourke-White photography exhibit being showcased at the Centro Cultural Borges. Viamonte 525, downtown.

In the evening, starting at 10pm, the renowned Orquesta Típica Fernandez Fierro will be staging a live show in Abasto. Sánchez de Bustamante 764, Abasto.

The Shakespeare Festival kicks off until the 28th of February featuring plays, films, Shakespeare walks and bike rides and other events related with the famous playwright. More information here.

In the evening stop by the Espacio Cultural Carlos Gardel to catch some live Bossa nova music at the kick off of the 2015 Bossa nova festival. Olleros 3640, Colegiales.

Saturday and Sunday
