Kick off the week with a good book at the Ateneo Grand Splendid bookstore, considered to be one of the most beautiful in the world. Av. Santa Fe 1860, Recoleta.

Take one of Foto Ruta’s Street Scape tours and learn some photography tips while discovering the city from a different angle. More information here.

Don’t miss the Colón Theatre’s experimental choral adaptation of Hans Christian Anderson’s The Little Match Girl that will be staged from Tuesday through Friday at 8pm. Tickets here.

Renowned artist Vic Muniz will be showcasing his work in the Retiro area at the Universidad Nacional Tres de Febrero until the 14th of September. Av. Antartida Argentina 1355, downtown.

At 8pm, the MALBA will be screening John Ford’s The Iron Horse and after midnight, Dr Caligari’s Cabinet by Robert Weine. Both silent films will have live music by the National Film Chamber Orchestra. Av. Figueroa Alcorta 3415, Palermo

Throughout June, every Saturday at 10pm, renowned Argentine folklore and jazz artist, Luis Salinas, will be playing a live show at Torcuato Tasso. Defensa 1575, San Telmo

Stop by the Palermo Rosedal where you can rent paddle boats to cruise the small lake alongside the ducks, and visit the Sivori Museum, which offers free tours in English and German on Saturdays at 3pm and 5pm! Av. Infanta Isabel 555, Palermo.
