Check out the MALBA’s two new exhibits, one of controversial Argentine artist Rogelio Polesello, and the other of a collection of video art by different artists that depict important historical and socio-political events. Av. Figueroa Alcorta 3415, Palermo.

The country will also be celebrating Friendship Day, as it does every 20th of July, so make sure to book in advance for shows and restaurants. Taste the special menu created at UCO Restaurant for the occasion, and join the fun at one of the city bars or at the classic Monday party by La Bomba del Tiempo at Centro Cultural Konex!

Tuesday

Take one of Foto Ruta’s Street Scape tours and learn some photography tips while discovering the city from a different angle. More information here.

Wednesday

Head to the Ecological Reserve behind Puerto Madero and look for the stunning monument La Fuente de las Nereidas which depicts the birth of Venus, and was sculpted by Lola Mora, one of Argentina’s most renowned women artists.

At 6pm, stop by the Centro Cultural Recoleta and catch one of the stunning Fuerza Bruta shows. Tickets here. 

Thursday

The annual Expo Rural kicks off until Sunday featuring horse shows, folklore, farm animals and more. More information here.

Later on, don’t miss Cuban jazz artist Gonzalo Rubalcaba at the Centro Cultural Kirchner starting at 9pm. Tickets are free and must be picked up on a first come first serve basis two hours prior to the show. Bouchard 350, downtown.

Friday is a day for indulging! Book your place for the full parrilla experience with Parrilla Tour. These filling excursions, which take place in San Telmo on Fridays, will surely leave you satisfied.

On Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening, Daniel Barenboim and Martha Argerich will be playing live concerts with the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra at the Colón Theatre. Tickets here.

Saturday and Sunday

Stop by the Palermo Rosedal where you can rent paddle boats to cruise the small lake alongside the ducks, and visit the Sivori Museum, which offers free tours in English and German on Saturdays at 3pm and 5pm! Av. Infanta Isabel 555, Palermo.
