Guided tours at 3pm of  Manzana de las Luces, an old Jesuit residence from the 1700’s in the San Telmo area are well worth the experience! Peru 272, San Cristobal.

In the evening, a parade of strange theatrical creatures will inaugurate the Teatro x la identidad event featuring live music by Leon Gieco and Los Tekis, amongst others, at the ND Ateneo where tickets will be handed out on a first come first serve basis from 6pm onwards. Paraguay 918, downtown.

A las 15hs recomendamos sumarse a un recorrido de la Manzana de las Luces, una residencia jesuita en San Telmo del 1700. Perú 272, San Cristóbal.

The MUNTREF art space in the Retiro area is showcasing a new collection of artwork which explores the theme of migration. av. Antártida Argentina 1355, Retiro.

Later on, head to the Doppelganger Bar in San Telmo for some of the city’s best drinks and atmosphere. Juan de Garay 500, San Telmo.4300 0201.

At 11pm head to the MALBA to catch a special screening of David Lynch’s famous Wild at Heart. avda. Figueroa Alcorta 3415, Palermo.

El Museo Nacional de Arte Decorativo en Recoleta está exhibiendo una nueva colección de platería artesanal. También se puede visitar la colección permanente del museo y parar en Croque Madame, el café situado en el patio, un lugar perfecto para parar a la tarde a disfrutar de un café acompañado de pastelería francesa. Av. If the weather is nice, a day trip to Tigre is a must while you’re in Buenos Aires. You can try a water sport, stop by the Mercado de Frutos where you can purchase local goods, go on a rollercoaster ride, and even place your bets at the local Casino. Explore on your own or try a tour!

On Saturday and Sunday, the gourmet food fair Buenos Aires Market will be taking place at Parque Rivadavia.

On Sunday, Paloma Herrera will be starring in the first of six farewell performances at the kick off of the Romeo and Juliet ballet that the Colón Theatre will stage until the 17th of October. Tickets here.

Also on Sunday, Blur will be staging a live show at Tecnopolis. Tickets here.

The Centro Cultural Kirchner is showcasing an exhibit of controversial French photographer Sophie Calle’s work, featuring interpretations by different women of a break-up letter that the artist recieved. Sarmiento 151, downtown.

In the evening, don’t miss the Buenos Aires Philharmonic and Sergio Tiempo at the Colón Theatre that will be presenting pieces by Sibelius, Rachmaninov and Nielsen. Tickets here.

On Saturday and Sunday you can also head to the Palermo Racetracks where the monthly Buenos Aires Market event will be taking place, offering great produce and food in a colorful outdoor setting! Avenida Libertador and Dorrego.

You can also stop by the Palermo Rosedal where you can rent paddle boats to cruise the small lake alongside the ducks, and visit the Sivori Museum, which offers free tours in English and German on Saturdays at 3pm and 5pm! Av. Infanta Isabel 555, Palermo.

On Sunday night, Mandarine Park nightclub will be hosting a big party with international DJ’s as Monday the 17th is a national holiday. Tickets are available here.
